Is there a way of turning off the electronic sensors on a 2010 CD74 when priniting on Tyvek. The problem is the doble sheet detector is unable to properly guage the thickness of the sheet due to the variations in the thickness, you can practically see right through the sheet in some spots. I want to use the mecanical detector only.

On some models you can turn off side lay double sheet detectors. Check if you have this possibility.

    Good luck,

our 2004 cd has same problem . the manual says we can turn off the electronic double sheet detector .when we go to the screen the option is not there . are cd has both electronic and mechanical detection makes no sense not to be able to turn it off. we have the same prob with that stock.

On our machine, we can turn off the ultrasonic sensor, but not the side guide sensors. The only way we manage to get the substrate through is by setting the pressure lower than the paper actually is. Even with that it stops from time to time. Rather annoying.

Apparently not, just the Ultrasonic sensor, not the side guide sensors.
