I comment, what we did is identify in the diagram the cables of that sensor, it is connected to AUM 1, we disconnected the black cables that go to terminals 7 and 8, it still cuts through double blades, what could it be?

I have vague memories of this happening years ago.

Bizarrely it was caused by the springs in the side-lay.
Check they aren't broken, and if possible put the heavy stock springs in, or put more tension on the lighter stock springs.
Worth a try, as it does ring a (strange) bell.

I understand, I tell you that we already did the test with the side guides at the maximum size, and the smaller paper so that it passes in the middle, not through the guide (it does not pass over that sensor) it still does not allow printing on a double sheet.

It's the long compression spring that sticks up from the side-lay, in the housing, that you use to alter the amount of pressure the spring puts directly onto the sheet of paper.
Keep loosening it off and the top will come off, exposing the long spring.

Open the 2 sheet caliper with the knurled screw check for damage on both top and bottom roller.make sure micro switch is working on 2 sheet caliper

  • Hello, could you help me with this because we tried a lot and still couldn't solve it. When passing the paper on the tape, give the error (double paper). We have already verified all the confirmation and it is relatively fine. Could you tell me what the sensor that detects the double paper would be? I attach video and image.
