On my PM-46, the vacuum does not come on after I hit the prodution button, or when I am setting the sheet thickness/length. I no longer have a service tech anywhere nrear me so I do a lot of repairs myself. Can anyone point me in the right direction for what may cause the vacuum to not work?
I am thinking maybe a solenoid or something more electronic, like a board??

Have you resolved this issue? Ihad a similar problem and it turned out being the capacitor mounted on top of the pump, it also happened to me on the spray powder pump as well
 
    • Hey Sean. I think I have it narrowed down to the HVK board. I traced down the hose coming up from the compressor and I am not getting any vacuum at all.
    I have a guy coming in after the holidays to verify, and possibly repair the board itself. Heidelberg wants $1300 for a new one. luckily I have a back-up press i can use until then.
