Hello i have 2 Color POLLY 725 , 1997. From the place where we buy the machine they told us that we must use this color order :

    1st round we using :

    1st printing unit Magenta color

    2nd printing unit Cyan

    2nd round we using:

    1st printing unit Yellow

    2nd printing unit Black

I want to know is it correct sequence or not?

If not please give me your valuable suggestions.

    Thanks

you can get 10 different answers and all will be right & wrong at the same time , but wha you are asking for is linked to a lot of missing information in your question.

Are you printing UCR images ? GCR images ?
How heavy is your print ?
what kind of ink do you use ? some can work well in one way , and not preform in others.
When printing a 4 color job it works well to put the black first , but it is not as good when you print 2+2

So you will need to give more information for a good answer...

    Good luck

Sorry . but still missing information

Do you know what UCR / GCR are ?
Are your images built from black skeletone with color added , or are they built from C M Y and black to give deapth ?

I do not know the ink make you use - can test to leard on the spec of the inks but can not tell off hand as they may make them different from the core ink companies.

well , simply google UCR GCR and learn about the 2 ways to vuils an image for proccess .
Then check your prepress and tell me what you use on your images / plates.

The right order is depended on how sticky is every ink and what kind of trapping you get on your press.
Also the time between the first 2 inks and the next 2 (wet over wet or wet over dry)

Sorry to bea pain... but an answer that is not based on details is no good...

If its a 2 colour machine printing 4 colour work.... the norm would be cyan / magenta then black yellow......
or if u wanted to follow the tack sequence of the ink black / cyan then magenta / yellow.....

reason for cyan / magenta on a 2 colour press is it gives u a foundation once your experienced of how he job will turn out...
A good ink will see barely any back trapping of black into yellow unit on the last pass.
