  • Are you using blankets for 5600? Its important you use correct blankets.
When you do color adjustment, do you have a nice curve?
Are you using good imaging oil?

Which HDI are you using? Do you have the problem in 160/175/180?
Which temp. Blanket you print with?
Are you printing with level 1,2,3?
Are all ametek blower/suction from pte and blanket working well?

If you were printing on a conventional press you would think the plates were on the wrong units. Or someone's played with the screen angles.

    Hello,
Try to set the “angle” Of other color and check if there is any change.
    Print only cyan
    Then send picture
You wrote that only this color is affected , I imagine you printed the Image in separation Right?

I asked our Indigo operator and told me he had a similar problem and blamed the software. He restored a previous version of the software and it went away on its own. Even HP representative in Greece did not know and await if it happens again to check it up.

  • "Jean pattern" is what our old techs called it. Think a writing head issue was the cause. Either needed a update or uninstall and reinstall and update software. Wasn't anything mechanical. But that fixed it. Just be sure your screen curve and dpi settings are not all wonky. Think you want those on default settings before hand.
