Printing designs on Lexan

I'm looking to start selling customised iPhone cases....not just iPhone actually...tablets other phones.

The cases will generally be in Lexan plastic....

Here's the million dollar question. There is a company doing this that states it has developed it's own proprietary printing technology for doing just this. To quote their website....

'Our exclusive 3D TATT® (Thermo-Active Transdermal Technology) printing process transfers the ink deep into the case’s surface creating the only one-of-a-kind protective cases on the planet.'

You can see their website which shows a picture of the machine....

Does anybody know anything about this technology? Is it or something similar available?

There are a few companies saying they use what appears to be a similar approach. For example this company also states it uses a 'Top Secret' 3d printing technology....

Really want to know what's being used here....doesn't make sense that this is not available on the open market...

Would be very grateful for any help on this

Thanks

  • This printing is not on Lexan. They are printing on Canvas. From their website..."Our blank canvas products are obsessively designed and engineered to make your electronica look and feel its best....there was a guy on the shark take that printed on sneakers...canvas sneakers. I am sure the same kind of machine does this. http://www.theavevenice.com/. They were on EPISODE 6 -THE AVE . They show the machine in the episode. Goodluck.
