If you print a solid yellow square across that area of the sheet is that section either lighter or missing? Try it with a square of 100% and a square of 50%.

Thanks guys.. Ive tried printing all the colors on that same spot and seem like the problem only comes up with the yellow as suggested.. Please see samples attached. The one is 100% yellow and the other 50% yellow. What is the DP?

DP is the unit where developer and toner mixes. I've a dc 12. It has four DPs one for each color. Sometimes big pieces of caked toner or developer or plastic stuck between magnetic rod and it stops toner flow there. take it out and remove that particle which is interrupting toner flow.

The DV Developer units are deep inside of machine, it is a piece of work and a half to get there besides there is guarantees that once you do you will be able to fix the problem with bare hands - you might need to change developer material or may be the whole unit needs to be replaced. Get professional help .

I, most likely, have a service manual for this machine or the one with same print-engine or you can buy the download on the WEB but in any case the dis-assemble nowhere near being user friendly, plus look at the situation where you took it apart, found the problem - it need part, now what... It is usually cost more to fix it after you fix it, like I saw the sign in Auto Repair Shop:
    Lift charge: $45 per hour
If you watching: $55 per hour
If you giving advises: $65 per hour
If we fixing it after you fixed it: $100 per hour
    :)

    Ha ha .....
This problem is not that big. Its a small and simple problem. If you know the machine you won't have to pay any amount to fix it. You can fix it yourself.
