Presstek DI34 - Laser replacement?

Hello:

We are now getting lines or faint areas on the plates of our DI34. We have checked all other faults & now assume it's the lasers. Never replaced & going on 15 years, so long over due for replacement. Question...is the entire laser assembly replaced or just the laser head? Suggestions would be appreciated for what actual parts to replace.

Normally you can go to the Screen replacement of Laser.

This is will give the laser Diode situation, and you need ONLY replce the Diode Laser.

Not yet, not sure where to start...I have been trying to find online how to replace them for the Presstek DI but no luck

It is easy to replace diode. New diode could be on same edge or you will need to adjust it. all is mechanic adjutment.
Nothing complicate.
