Lead Press Operator
TM International - World leader in temporary tattoos is located in Tucson, Arizona
We are looking for 2nd shift lead press operator for our sheet feed Manroland 700. Must have 5 years’ experience as journeyman in large format offset lithography.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Upon start of shift inspect Press area cleanliness
• Maintain necessary supplies and materials to perform job functions
• Identify runs needing to be produced each shift based on schedule
a. Organize run order for maximum efficiency / Minimize changeovers
b. Instruct 2nd operator and helpers w/ regards to what needs to be done
c. Lead press crew throughout daily production process.
• Ensure regular maintenance is performed
• Coordinate daily w/ production scheduler
• Repair and Maintenance
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
• Strong Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to identify/recognize printing challenges and trouble-shoot for resolution
• High degree of attention to detail
• Strong work ethic
• Positive attitude towards fellow employees
• Team player focused on consistently delivering quality product.
• Ability to read/write in English
• Knowledge/ application of good safety, process, maintenance and cleaning practices
• No physical limitations (i.e. eyes for color)
• Standing/walking/bending/lifting during an eight (8) hour shift
EDUCATION:
• High school or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
• 5 years’ experience as journeyman in offset lithography
