Postscript overprint

Hi.

Im new on this forum, im from from a digitalprint company in denmark called Lasertryk.dk.

I have a question about the Xerox Freeflow RIP.
In the queue manager theres a option to enable "Postscript overprint", we have seen that it brightens the images of our calendars slightly and generally gives more detail to the image.
As i'm completing my education as a graphics technician i would like to know what this option does to the image, google couldn't help me.

Place a service call and ask to speak with Second Level Support. Let them know its not hardware related, but software, and they should put you through. The support people in Rochester are amazing and full of knowledge.
