POS-CTRL problems

The poblem is that the board is not talking to the plug/computer/Rodimo. It works on the plug next to this board, no problem.

The board looks fine - all leds are working but it seems like the board is not working?

 

Uhmmm , By video, you need someone to guide you, friend, you have to contact one of us in the group, that problem is easy

 

what about the error from the color console is it answering? did you fix that error?

 

The CCI message can be from any PU. I already wrote. Diagnosis defect.
It remains to erase the EEPROMs.
For this you need a service diskette.
I can sell you a few. ....expensive.
ha ha.

 

The first error is Node 8 - subnode 1 does not answer - and then the others. (see on the photo)

We had a spare PC card from another working machine yesterday - to swap in the console - same errors - nothing changes.

The Rodimo did not work there either. (but Rodimo works in the port beside)

We have swapped cards frome every unit, delivery and feeder - all the same :-(

Read carefully! I wrote "erase", not reset. Need a service diskette....
It can be erased from the service menu of the central control console.
PP is not the "first" error. This is the last one.

 

We tried - all the same.

 

Ok erase - got that.

The PP error - comes when we try to do the "make ready" on the console.

As i am told, the Node 8 can cause the console not working - as it is doing right now.

We have a Roland guy coming from abroad later this month. But we really need this fixed before that :-/

 

How did you erase the EEPROM?
Replace it with another one, just for testing.
Before pressing "make ready", try to auto zero the feeder motors with the hand terminal, or just take out all motor boards
Write down what happens.
