I am new to running a Presstek 9995C press with polyester plates.
Large solids with small reverse type inside is difficult.
On heavy custom order card stock with 75% ink coverage I have a hard time keeping it open.
The press can't seem to run 120 or 130 lb stock fast enough.
The owner tells me everyone else does it this way with these plates, but I need some feedback from you guys that actually do it and let me know so I can pass it on or give me some ideas.
The press can jam or missfeed, the press slows down and the plates dry up and stress begins...

two things that work for me on my qm-di...(paper plates)add body gum to your ink or you have to speed up the press, not full speed, but the faster you run,the more open your reverses will stay
    hope that helps
