Polar Mohr 115 CS -SL 4331025- knife not coming down

Dear all,
Facing a problem that knife some times works and most of the time not works.

Light beam all bulbs have replaced with new(24v 5W) and adjusted well, indication lamp get ON as well and get OFF if we obstructed the path.
Checked two hand push button's NO and NC contacts, it's working fine

When I press two hand push button for cut, relay d230 get activated on board 8, (can hear the tick sound) But knife does not come down. After many attempts some times knife coming down too.

when I touch the relay on Board 9, is getting heat.

Secondly, can u tell me the function of Board No.4 ( Polar 011327) it's capacitor got leaked, is this board related to knife?

Can suggest some check points please...

check if there is a bad contact on the components in the card, reinforce the soldering using the solder, check the light bar if there is a play because of the vibration and also check the end of travel switch of the press if there is a bad contact

 

D230 on Board 8 if this relay activates (audible click) but the knife does not move consistently, it could indicate a problem downstream from the relay, such as issues with the solenoid, motor, or wiring.
The relay heating up on the board 9 could be a sign of a malfunction or excessive current draw. Check the relay for wear or damage, and verify that there are no short circuits or faulty connections in the associated circuitry.

 

Polar 011327 This board typically functions as a control module, potentially linked to various machine operations. If its capacitor has leaked, it may be causing erratic behavior in knife activation. Inspect and replace the damaged capacitor and check for any other visible damage on the board, such as burnt components or damaged traces.The faulty capacitor could affect power stabilization or control signals essential for the knife's operation.

 

Thanks for your detailed reply, unfortunately Friday and Saturday are off day for clients and I came back to my place which is 400km away.

I read your problem, can u tell me the function of Board No.4 ( Polar 011327) it's capacitor got leaked.

The function is stabilizer and rectifiy the -15Vdc, for the different circuit. You must measure with the receptacle Yellow in Board, versus the Yellow Post in the Machine, locate undert Post RED, in in the main Main panerl, where all electronic board is there. You must read ; -15Vdc. otherwise, the machine, will have erratic function. the Input is coming from the secondary of main transformer..

The board that are involucrated withe the KNIFE are: 7 Safety Bolt +8 cutting and clam +9 Light barrier system LSF ( you must measure in the receptacles yellow : .12 vDC fully illuminated , and darkene: .5 at .06 max.
