I have a Polar 92 EMC with the Linear Measuring System LMS problem,
is there a way to run in secondary mode

Normally, there are NOT way to run in secondary mode.

Only the you redesign the system.

Thanks for the quick response.
The problem is the machine finds a reference point get a number but continues to move forward and the numbers do not change.
I replaced the cable and replaced the TAM card there is no change.
A few years ago I changed in Polar 115 EMC to a Chinese kit that replaces the old system.
Today they want for this product for about $1200 .
The value of the machine is not worth it.
I did not understand what mean "Only the you redesign the system."

In other words, Do not use the LMS system.

Since, all the electronic for the machine is relationed , there are NOT way, for to do it, by that reason, Redesign system to mechanical system( redesign too)

take out the cable of Lms and you use the machine manually and scale meter for measuring

I checked the machine again without a cable,
but it is not possible to work,
the machine travels forward or backward until the limit switch,
it is not possible to stop it in the middle and it does not go into cutting mode.

the machine goes back and front then stops at front limit then you can move back manually without misugring system

What do you mean manually
insert the handle and turn the handle to reach the measurement.
If I push the button inside the handle to go back it goes all the way again.
