Hi all,
Any thoughts on this fault.
Back gauge reaches programmed size, ie 500mm, screen shows 500mm, but machine beeps, dashes flash in read out and drops out of programme, just as if it was out of tolerance
Puzzled by this one
Any help appreciated
Andy

Is it using a linear scale?

  • Yes it's a linear scale
Thats right around the calibration point. It could be the glass scale inside needing cleaned, the cord that attaches to the head, or the scale itsself. It could also be the reader board. In my experience it is most likely a bad scale and that is not good. They dont make them anymore.

It happens any where on the scale eg send it to 852mm, runs, slows down stops at 852mm then bleeps and flashes. It is any point any measurement

Oh gotcha. Sorry. Are all the inputs good on the input screen? Any of them lit up? Maybe one of the NC sides of the cut buttons arent resetting very good?
