    Good Day,
Please can you help. I replaced the Toshiba TLX-1741-C3m display with a new Hitachi TLX-1741-C3m. Based on the specs, the board I purchased is a replacement for the Toshiba. I connected it yesterday. The backlight comes on, but no imageset on the display, everything else works on the guillotine. It did give a few beeps on startup. Can anyone suggest any fixes. The IDC connectors on the board were a bit of a different orientation so I had to make a new ribbon cable to connect from display to the driver board but I checked this wiring and all seems to be as the old board.
    Thanks

Possible the Display is NOT compatible.

    2) However Backlight is o.k

    3) Review +5Vdc +9Vdc in the board of POLAR, if there are in Tolerance 0.7% up or down, otherwise replace or repair.

    4) IF after everything is o.k, Display NOT compatible.

Good Day, just to give you feedback. The replacement display is working. The new display came with a surface mount potentiometer which needed to be tuned to get the correct contrast. This was done and voila!

    Thanks for the assistance.
