None of the keys are working on the keyboard after what may have been static discharge from cutting synthetic stock. The display shows proper position but there is no way to program. There is 5V and 9V being supplied to the board.

    Hi
is there the +5 and+9 in tolerance in 5% ??? example if you get +5.6Vdc out of tolerance, repair or replace, and similar.
Lets check this, please, if there are try to clean the connectors very well, from oxide, and dust.
    2) Look for dry and cold joint solder, and reheating the boards.
    3) if everythings is o.k , time to replace the Keyboard board

Thanks you so much for the quick response. There is 4.95v and 9.1v at the test points. The display is functioning and I have reworked the solder joints for the ribbon cable and power supply connectors. I was suspecting either the KDI board or the keyboard board but was having a difficult time finding a replacement. Thanks again.

Does the backgauge move to position when you enter a number?
