Hello! What does error code 89 mean for the Polar 76 EM guillotine? The guillotine stops halfway through the cycle! After a restart it works again for a while!

Hello! Where is the safety bolt on the Polar 76EM that needs to be lubricated for error code 88? Front, back, side?

You must unscrew, and PUT graphite for LUBE, o.k ?

Hi, we're struggling with a similar issue on our 76EM, we get error 88 as soon as you turn it on. The clamp is stuck half way down. Is it the safety bolt, can someone direct me to where this can be found?

Try look for behind the frontal frame, behind the main switch.

Hi oabrahim, thanks for your speedy response. I can see what must be the safety bar, it seems to be moving freely, I have given it a bit of spray to be sure.
We still have the 88 error, is there something you need to do to reset some how?

I can lift the safety bar and this allows us to get a full rotation of the blade, do I need to get it to a certain position, the normal position (straight) allows the safety bar to drop back down.

We have fixed this, the bracket in the image had come lose and had moved, I guess the machine thought the safety bar was in the wrong position.

Yes, up and running. We also removed the strap between the back and front partially to get better access to the sensor at the end of bar.

Check safety bolt for mechanical stiffness in its movement

+LUBE VERY WELL!!, WITH GRAPHITE


Check monitor switch S.SB and connections
according to wiring diagram

Exchange card IAR. Check Fuse #l.
