Polar 76 em blade and clamp will not come down.

When trying to move the blade manually it comes to a stop either counter clockwise or clockwise does not matter, what is stopping the blade from manually coming down ???

Safety clamp is working properly, the clamp and blade when activated do nothing, I see on boards HK , KK , IAR ,that they are lighting up when cutter switches are pressed. Is there a change blade mode that I'm missing. I hear a solenoid engage somewhere around the clamp reservoir. No codes ,,thank you for any help that you can give.

Hi sir;

I believe that is bad interpretations from my side.

1) test the power supply ;+5 +12+24Vdc+42Vdc ; -12Vdc -30Vdc. in tolerance 0.7% up or down, otherwise replace it

2) See if the cut buttons s28a+s28b are N.O +N.C , test it and repair or replace it, look, for loose connector, lack of +24Vdc

3) Measure +42Vdc at the terminals electromagnetic clutch ? test the brush AND IF there are contact, and clean very well or replace brush , look if the relais k21a+k21b are closing , test the connectors? otherwise replace the board KUP.

4)look for magnetic valve Y33 according with his schematic , if there activated when you push the cut buttons

I checked everything on the list found no abnormalities, here is what I observed, KK card when pressed 2 red lights come on, on the HK card v3 goes out when you engage the right and left cutter switches. DOT in led display is Blinking, cleaned the light barrier switch it is operating ( HK v14 ). Still have no movement from the clamp or the blade.

When Cutter switches are engaged HK , 1,2,3,5,8,9,12,14,15,16,17,18 these lights are all on. IAR 5 red lights come on .

Can you tell me what activates v16 on the HK card. It's off until I engage the cutter switches. Thank you for all your patience and understanding in this matter. It is greatly appreciated.

I have only 7 volts at pin 9 in the middle, I have only 7v at the cutter switches.

The red dot on the display doesn't blink until you hit the cutter switches

Hi, I believe, that you do Not follow my steps, since I did mentioned before : First test the power supply in tolerance, now you asking?: Where is located+24Vdc +42Vdc??.

Please do to his very carefully.

The cut switch feed:+24Vdc, if you do not have will NOT work!!!, Feed the relaid too K21a+b !!!!

By other:+42Vdc, if there are Not;1) Not Safety Bolt 2) Not clutch.

Thank you for your timely response. I checked and all I have is 7v to the cutter switches and everywhere else I check. Was able to obtain a service manual. I cannot find 24v or 48v polar board 015968 ( the fuse holder ) has half power on all checked, 32v was 15v, 12.5v was 6.5v , and so on. I checked and I still have 3 phase,power at Q96 and Q92. On the HK card v16 comes on when I try and cut, I believe that us the safety bolt, the one that looks like a bar not a bolt. Again thank you for your patience in this,matter. Blessings to you as well
