Can anyone with experience working on these tell me what should be replaced? See attached video. Resulting in the clamp not coming down when the foot pedal is pressed. The problem is worse now then when video was taken so I suspect faster more significant leak where the one in the video is shown. The company that has serviced our knives tends to overcharge and do a lot of guess work so seeking help here. we are in southern tier NYS.

Check there is no lateral float on foot pedal, fixing coupling sometimes works loose so when plastic wedge is pushing pin into hydraulics, it moves left not pushing properly

  • Yeah. Covered there, even when the pin is depressed manually there is no response.
    Hi There!

I have been following your posts regarding the clamp issue on your Polar machine.

I am experiencing the same issue on our Polar 137 ED. I only read your posts now so I have not checked for leaks as yet - will do that tomorrow.

Have you had any luck with fixing your problem as yet? If so, what was the cause of the clamp not coming down using the foot pedal?

Please let me know if you have found a fault / solution.

    Many Thanks

    Shawn
