Please Help with Xerox dc6060

Sounds like an Oiler assy problem. Usually the bearings get out of round and the orange roll doesn't make good contact between metering roll and fuser roll.

is it possible that the impression all is well with oil and yet there is something wrong with Oiler assy?? because the impression I oil well ..

  • tonight we get another of the services Fuser Belt. We put it in place and worked well around 80 prints .. then began again stick paper for belt .. whether fuser belt should be oiled or dry?

The belt dont have an oil system but it became oily in contact with fuser roll.
But if there is too much oil and the fuser belt is too oily the you can have paper jam into this area.
Do you have DC6060_XPP manual for this machine ?

i know that the belt don't have oil system.. i think on oiling i contact with fuser roll.. is it better to belt it dry or oiling??

I don't any service manual for machine.. unfortunately.. i have one diskette and i don't know for what.. hhh what is ..._XPP?
    thx

Oil the pad inside the belt to decrease the friction and stops water marks. The outer surface should be only lightly oiled from the fuser roll

When you say that the paper is sticking to the belt do you mean the fuser roll as I have never heard of any paper sticking to the belt in 15+ years of servicing them

As other people have suggested I would recommend a trained service engineer look at it as it is more involved than we can help over the forum

It is a marketing label = Xerox Productivity Plus in fact a " service manual " for customer use. Help you to know and mantain your machine.

MakrD .. I thought exactly the fuser BELT .. the paper is glued to the Belt! believe it or not .. to me, it happens .. that is happening to me yesterday .. today I have yet another problem .. we changed the belt (older but good) and finally put back our old and no longer sticks to the belt .. Now, I think that little stick to the fuser .. paper stop just when you go out of the fuser .. the output fit and primejćujem that little priljeplljen for fuser ROLL this time .. and so regularly stops .. fuser roll is brand new .. and the impression I notice that the oiling well and I think the natural oiled no problem .. I do not know what more to do ..

adriansto .. I have no manual .. I got nothing because we bought a used machine .. owner: third and more ..
only e-book in. pdf format .. but there is nothing about the parts of the machine rather than just managing the software ..

The best thing you can do is to call a xerox tech.
Or you need a service manual and read about the machine components and how all these works but this need time and some skills.
There is some adjustments to do in the fuser area for things works good

I know .. trying to solve over the phone. but not really going. because of the distance, their arrival is very expensive and we therefore it is not a happy solution .. but it will be the last what we have to make if we can not solve all of this ..
which may be the reason why the paper is sticking to the fuser roll? too little oil? (bad oil system?)
250gsm paper passes without problems are .. 150gsm and thinner stops inside the fuser .. (sometimes it crowded, and sometimes even)

here is the new information .. maybe some help in troubleshooting .. woodfree paper (classic office paper) goes in all formats duplex. including SRA3.
Core Silk and Glossy not going to SRA3 format .. Remove one sheet of good and other stops in the fuser .. do not crowd him, just stop ..
    any ideas?

My service tells me that the problem of the pressure between the Belt fuser and fuser roll .. but it also says that I'm not able to do because there is pattern by which the wrong pressure on the paper .. What do you think?

  • Can you take a picture of the inside of the belt assembly for me. Particularly the orange pad with the metal strip on one edge. There should also be no movement of the rolls inside the bearings. Only one end of one roll should move up and down in a slot (steering roll)

What exactly do I do a picture inside? friend directed me how to clean the inside at all .. orange rubber I cleaned and oiled his instructions .. All this in shifts without problems also roller on one side with the Up - Down .. I made a print on 115gsm and the lesser and greater grammage set in the machine and it is always good bacon .. that my friend said that this means that the pressure is not well-tuned?
