Plate slipping

    On the printmaker qm 46 I am running metal plates and on the main unit the plate is slipping out of the lead plate gripper but not the from the secondary unit I am new at this press and could really use the help

    you need to tighten up the clamps. Not sure of the plate clamps on a QM are the same as a speedster but each segment of clamp should have an adjustment screw. There is also the possibility that the inside of the clamps have a buildup of dried ink thats not allowing the clamp to properly bite the plate.

    I'm sending a photo showing that the plate moves from the gripper and this is after 177 sheets

    Completely different plate clamps than your GTO, Nitin.
