I am testing my first laser printer (HP CP5225dn) for use making letter, tabloid and 12x18 lost dog flyers, under laminate and hung outside. I'm looking into toner fade resistance, but also am considering paper characteristics.
I have learned that yellow and red paper fades more than other colors. Are there types of colored laser paper that hold up better to sunlight than others....acid-free, cotton, low recycled content, etc? Also, should I consider any specific white paper and effect it may have with the toner regarding fading or other degrading?
On a side note: Is there a florescent or eye catching 11x17/12x18 paper brighter than what I've been using - Astrobright Solar Yellow? Thanks!
