paper degrading

Has anyone had problems with uncoated paper coming apart due to fountain solution?
How about ink drying issues caused by fountain solution?

no and yes...make sure your rollers are set properly and try cutting back on the fountain solution mix ratio..also try using distilled water instead of tap

Currently we are using a Kompac dampening system. Not having any issues except with one brand of paper for the paper coming apart.

Is the paper for digital machines? I would try another brand of paper!!! I use to use a product called release for the blanket..years ago when NCR started sticking to the blanket(mostly the yellow sheet)..but NCR runs fine these days without anything on the blanket and I have no idea if the product is still available!!
