Pan chrome roller re-chroming

Hi, Is there any place in the United States that will rechrome the dampening pan roller? Have one the the chrome has flaked off.

I could be wrong but wouldn't any chrome plating shop be able to re chrome the roller once you've stripped the old chrome off Steve?

I'm not sure if just any plating shop employs the technology for what is required for a dampening chrome roller, Tom, that being hydrophilic chrome plating. I've used the aforementioned vendor for many years, and have not had a bit of a problem. I guess that's why I recommended them, though there's probably others who can do the same work. Another reason, depending on the make and model machine, they've had stock on hand, already chromed, and once they've received my customer's roller they immediately shipped a replacement.

Yes I've sent them to a place in Houston Texas
