For some reason the p1 board is heating up on my toko 4700CD
I already fried one and do not want to do the same thing to the new board.
The fuse is a 5a slow-blow that does not blow, nor does the breaker trip on the press. I turned on the press (not engaging any motors) and noticed an electrical smell, all of the digital readout went off. I replaced the fuse with no luck. I replaced the P1 board and noticed the DS1 element on the PC2 part of the board started heating up and was hot to the touch. I turned off before any more damage could be done. I followed the wiring and checked all the connectors for signs of damage, but no luck.
The board number is P1 1531-104571.
I never have noticed before if this element is supposed to heat up when the power is on, but do not want to damage the new board either.
Any thoughts, suggestions, or tips would be most appreciated.
    Thanks
    ted

Check your input voltage to the board you can also disconect the outputs and see if it still gets hot might be a low level short www.control-tronics.com
