One Shot

Hey gang,
We've been fighting HP for several months over some issues with our one shot feature. They are now telling us that the first inch of the substrate is a dead area, and that we may not be able print in this area. This is a problem for us as we print a lot of vinyl that must die cut. If we can't print the first inch we will have to increase our vinyl order by 25% (which will drive up the cost of the job), and we will have to order a new die.
Has anyone had any luck printing a full sheet in one shot?
