Hello,
I am new to the forum, and have a question about an OKI 900DP that we purchased for envelope printing. It was a used unit in great condition. The issue were are having is that it keeps timing out. We are not printer techs, but think the sync might be off with the printer and the envelope feeder. We can sometimes print 50, but then an envelope gets to the mouth of the printer and there is a message that says "load media" or something. So we need to turn off the feeder, remove the last envelope, reset, and turn it back on, and then press online which restarts the process. Now this is happening sometimes after we print 10-15 envelopes. We are not a print shop, but still have a high volume of envelope printing that needs to get done.
We have tried everything to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also, are there any OKI technicians in the Connecticut are that would be available for a service call to fix the issue? It is an old workhorse and perhaps it is just reaching end of life too.
Thank you for any input or guidance!
