I'm new to UV printing and I'm struggling with print quality. I failed to maintain my printer properly so I replaced the head (L800). Unfortunately, the print quality didn't improve so something else must be wrong. Maybe someone can offer suggestions on how to move forward based on the photo below??? Thanks in advance for any help!
I believe I've solved this problem myself. When I flushed the lines between the printhead and ink supply I noticed quite a bit of air in the lines. When I got rid of all the air by using a syringe to draw ink to the bags, the quality of the prints increased dramatically. The image in question now prints like this:
