Not solid letters

    This issue is on a Ricoh pro8120. Large solids and half-tone areas are produced nicely. But text and thin lines are having problems. The inside of the letters are missing little spots. More so just inside the corners. The outside edge of the letters is OK. We have changed the drum and developer units with only slight improvement. Any ideas where the real problem is that is causing this?
