Looks like a print head issue to me. Was this printed at a very high dpi? I'm assuming you did try a few cleaning cycles? Does it happen all the time? On all types of media?

print head was changed. Did not help. Printed same file on different media as well as other colors. Other colors with same file are fine. Different media same results. Also has problem with purple shades.
Thank you for responding with questions. Allways helps to get more information.

    yes performed cleaning cycle B
Not sure what DPI was used. Only happens with these color combination as well with purple combinations.. With loop appears to be loosing Magenta.

Could be some air in the ink line - this could only be revealed by a visual inspection of the line. If it doesn't happen with every single print I wouldn't think it's something very sinister wrong with it.

Migh help if you take out the prin head and check if there is an ink buildup on or very near to the nozzles corresponding to the colour giving you trouble. If there is, clean it out - careful not to damage the head. This might sort your problem. If the buildup happens again in the future i would look further at the capping station and wipers as they might need replacing.

I've never used any of those. I usually use distilled water

    machine repaired.
Not having any service records on the printer we took the end users word that the print head had been replaced and that did not solve the problem.
further questioning revealed the print head was replaced 2 years ago.
A thourough cleaning and replacement of print head resolved quality issues.
    thanks for all your help.
