My apologies for a potentially newbie question (although I am new to all of this). We are a very small shop looking to upgrade from manual thermographic printing (rubber stamps/heat gun) to an automated thermographic solution (eg. Thermotype Model T).

My question is what inexpensive print options do I have? I understand that most inkjet printers dry quickly which isn't useful. Considering that our runs can be anywhere from 10 to 500 copies and in many cases each copy is unique (think in terms of personalized table seating cards) it seems that a duplicator is overkill and not useful.

    Does anyone have any advice?

    Anybody? Anybody? Bueller?

Let me ask another way ... are there any reliable ink based or inkjet printers out there which uses slow drying ink??

    Any luck?

Just received a Thermotype Model T and have been trying to find an inexpensive printer I can use with it.
