Hi all,
i´m new in this forum but for what I´ve seen, it seems all you guys know a lot about printing....
I´m opening a new label digital printing business in Lima, PERU. We started doing barcode printing for inventory with a zebra 170 xi4 but a lot of our customers are asking for color labels so now we are looking to buy a digital color printer .... obviously, since we are starting we don´t want to spend more than $10,000 to $15,000 in a printer that ideally can do the label cutting as well.
We have seen the Roland Versastudio BN-20 and a primera LX900 printer but we are not sure if this is our best options....most of the labels are for retail business (small coffee exporters, jewelry stores, brands). Any ideas or help you can give us?? There is one particular film that we would ideally want to use for some customers..the 3M controltac 3650 film. They need something in full color that will adhere to plastic, metal and some textiles and we have found this film in Peru.
Please any ideas or suggestions on small digital printers would be helpful.
