As the title suggests I’m in need of a electro flake specialist. We had a bolt brake off the feeder and run through the press. So far the damage has only showed up on one job, but the owner would like it permanently fixed. Does anyone know of anybody providing this service in Melbourne Australia? The damage is on both blanket and impression cylinders. We are not really worried about the blanket cylinders due to our under blanket hiding it but the impression cylinders need some attention.

I have already had similar accidents on the impression cylinder
I can recommend a product that will solve your problem, I have used it for 4 years now and until now the cylinder is in good condition as if it has never been touched
Tomorrow morning I'll give you the reference

If your calling in someone to do the work I would suggest spending the extra money to repair even the blanket cylinder as the tech will already be there, and additional cost would be minimum. The fact that youve been able to hide the problem so far does not mean that you will always be able to hide it. There is also the issue of future resale of press should the need arise. Cylinder damage will be the first thing that a potential buyer will looking for!!!

make a homogeneous mixture then apply it on the cylinder, let it dry for 24 hours and brush it with abrasive paper and that's it
