Hello All,

Need your help in deciding between Xerox Phaser 7500 or Konica Minolta Bizhub 220.

I have demoed the Bizhub 220, looks sturdy but wasnt satisfied with the quality it printed. The Text converted to curves printed as it would if the font was bold. (Guess its because of absence of RIP). Overall satisfied with the colors and GSM it can handle (Upto 330).

Phaser 7500 is also in the same range cost wise but looks like a delicate machine. It can take 280 GSM max as said in brochure but skeptical about it.

Also would be happy if you can tell about the cost of running Xerox Phaser 7500.
Konica Prints are a lot cheaper.

Both offer Banner Printing.

My budget is 2,50,000 INR.

Monthly volume 1500 Prints. (SRA3 size)

Please advise.

Please let me know whatever information you have related to this.

I run mostly substrates below 250 GSM.

P.S. : I cant afford old 242/252/262 since they are available @ more than 5,00,000 INR.

i like the konica minoltas as they have the gloss effect on printing, it slows the machine down abit but the quality of the print is quite nice. if you can though go with a 280 as imo are more solidly built.
