    Hello all,
I have a unique printing need and I am not sure who to go to. I figured you all could help. This may sound silly, but I have some trading cards that I would like to have some additional number printed onto. They are about 120pt thick and glossy surfaced. I would like to add numbers about size 10 font to them in a metallic shade of color that matches part of the item. Depending on cost I would like to have at least 100 or so done.

So who should I contact to have this done and what do I need to ask? Any idea what this might cost? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Metallic..text and 10pt, to match a sample you have?

And are you talking sequential numbering?

I think you need to find a Printer who still has an old Heidelberg 'windmill' letterpress machine with a numbering box that can handle the size of card you have.

You won't get it done any other way IMO, but I'm prepared to be corrected.

Inkjet/digital? I don't know of any that can use metallic inks.

Oh and you mention glossy..do you mean a laminate ie can you tear it? If you can't then you're looking at alternative solutions like fully oxidising inks.

    Good luck

So you'd do this on a letterpress diversedisplay? Or how?

I took a quick look through the Diverse Display site, but I'm very curious how you'd handle running the existing thick and small trading cards through your equipment or the metallic overprint on the same.
