Hi! I found this forum searching in internet. Im currently in the process to acquire a Multilith 1250 with chain. Here is near the standard in little presses. Im going from the digital design world to trying to make an start in publish some little books.
I have been googling a little about the Multilith, i want to know the history of it, some page of the current maker, or something. Maybe i dont know how to search, but, so far, the only thing i found is that it was made by AM..im correct?
If someone can tell me some short history about the maker of this, and some other interesting data about the history of this machines, i would apreciate it very much!
    thanks!

I can’t tell you much about the history of the AM Multilith company but I can tell you about a couple of their presses that I used to operate. The 1/c 1250 (chute delivery) and the 2/c 1862 with receding stacker (chain delivery). Both were great little machines, were easy to operate and printed very well. The 1250 could be considered an entry level press with the 1862 being a bit more advanced (complex) and with that also able to print a larger sheet with higher quality.

Thanks very much! It helps to know the 1250 is not so hard to use.
