So I got the bulk of my red streaks to go away, but I'm still getting some extra red at the top and bottom edges of the paper. It's most apparent on anything orange, where the red suddenly overpowers the yellow like so:

    Any ideas?

I have occasional troubles making light orange. It starts to happen gradually....THEN goes downhill in a hurry. If I remember correctly... we played with purge settings? Like it was starving itself of toner....

then reran calibrations.... I cant remember what else. If I see my tech today Ill yell at him.

It's not just the orange. I've managed to settle the red on the top edge by adjusting/replacing some dicor wires, but the abundance of red on the bottom edge is still there. Do you remember exactly what you had to do with the purge settings? If I could get the red/yellow sorted I'd be ecstatic.

Yes, I cleaned them all. Replacing the charged wires in the red made most of the streaks go away, just not the extra red on the bottom part.

Can you print a FPHT20 test print in each color and compare them to each other to see any uneven densities? You might have to do a DC614 to adjust laser uneven output.

Every time I try to do a DC0614 it tells me "Error: Unable to detect spectrophotometer"

Is there a serial plug on the cable from the spectro?

First you're going to have to tell me where to look for it. I don't know exactly where the spectro is on the press.
