Monitoring the main motor brake

Hello. I'm having an intermittent problem our machine SM102-2 P (old machine).
Sometimes, the error "Monitoring the main motor brake" will happen. I checked and there is no component like a brake switch to monitor if the brake is on or off. There is just a simple cable(power) to activate the magnetic coil of the brake.

Kindly advise / help for this intermittent problem.

If you look at end of motor which has a flexible end cap and can remove it you will find the brake mechanism. Possibly just needs cleaned and lubricating.
Worth a try.
