We have a Mohr 56eco guillotine that repeatedly comes up with a hydraulic system overheating error 993. The guillotine cuts outs after the clamp comes down, but between 3-10 attempts straightaway it will then work.
Anyone else experienced this as we don't seem to be getting anywhere with Mohr.

Cause: This error message is issued when the thermal contact of the hydraulic motor
indicates an interruption during the release of the cut. Since Polar 66 is not fitted
with a safety bolt the thermal contact is used for generating the signal "safety bolt
(SB) activated". The SB safety circuit serves to monitor the thermal contact of the
    hydraulic motor.
Remedy: - Check loading of hydraulic motor
    - Check thermal contact
    - Check cabling
    - Check cutting circuit card
    - K1 on SAP card (contact 11/12)
    - Check 24-V power supply unit and replace it, if n

    Hi sir:

thermal contact of the hydraulic motor indicates an
interruption during the release of the cut.

    Test :

Check the power supply from G3

If the hydraulic motor is really to hot:

Check safely the conditions of the knife, maybe perform a knife change.

Check knife adjustment (too deep into the cutting stick)

Check loading (amperage) of the hydraulic motor M3

If the hydraulic motor is not to hot:

Check thermal contact of motor M3 by measuring the resistance at plug SK9, using the
    machine drawings.

Check cabling of thermal contact inside the hydraulic motor

Check contact of K1 on the SAP95 board by measuring the supply voltage of 24 V d.c. during

an active cut at plug SK9.12. The voltage has to be for sure 22 V d.c. This measurement
has to be done after several cuts as well.

Change SAP95 only if the above mentioned checks where o.k.

Change SK95 only if the above mentioned checks where o.k.

    Thank you Chock & Synthology.
Have forwarded these suggestions on to our engineers. Will let you know the outcome.

Hi. I have same issue with my mohr 66eco overheating error 993. The guillotine cuts outs after many attempts.
is the issue already fixed? and I wonder what SAP95 and SK95 looks like? thanks

    Hi sir;
Please test the following for Hydraulic overheating error 993

    Check loading of hydraulic motor.
    - Check thermal contact WSK/M3.
    - Check cabling.
    - Check cutting circuit card.
    - K1 on SAP 66- board (contact 11/12).
    - Check Regulated 24-V power supply unit and replace it, if necessary
