Metalstar 3 (Rapida 145) dampening question

Has anyone experience any problems with their dampening clutch assemblies? In our 6 color we have had 2 of the u-joint drives break for water forms and changed 1 out of precaution. Currently our 5th unit is struggling with what seems like not enough water being carried into the unit. We have changed rollers, checked and set stripes, replaced coupler from clutch the roller (the slotted piece). The only thing that seems to help is run the unit with the fans off. Has anyone experienced or seen this phenomenon. Press ran for 8 1/2 years and never had this issue and last year and a half it's been a constant thing. It is more prevalent in lighter coverage jobs for sure.

Hello, I have experience with the MeatalStar 3 and KBA R145 dampening system. Perhaps you could check the pre-dampening settings and use a higher curve?
