    Good day everyone,

I bought a Man Roland Practica, but the previous owner only have an electrical manual, anyway, i tried to install it but the main motor (4M1) doesn't work, i thought it was the state of the motor due the bad transportation, but i did make the motor work out of the machine, so maybe is an cable that isn't well connected. Can you tell me where i can find the critical spots for detect the problem? or have any clue of where is the problem?

    Hi sir:

    please make the following Steps:

    1) Reset the circuit breakers: Oe1 +Oe2 in the primary of the main transformer Om1.

    2) Test the fuses in the secondary of the main transforme Om1:Oe3+Oe4+Oe12+Oe13 .

3)Measure the Input of the Module of Thyristor or Conversor 4U2,, and Look if there are Output??

    4) a) if there are Not output , look in the Conversor Module 4U2, if there are some loose wires, or faulty, or cutting, or the conversor Module is Faulty repair or replace

    b) if there are output, look for the brake of main motor 4m1 if there are voltage to the solenoid, and repair.

    c) if everything is o.k the motor is faulty.

d)Finally this is motor of DC Voltage, compare vs the ID plate in the motor.

    Let me know, sincerely

    Blessing

    Hello, Thanks for the reply

I have looked the unit 4U1-4U2 as you writed, the input works normal, but there isn't output.
I attached some photos. Any solutions?
The indicator Panel Shows that some of the Buttons don't work.

There is a burnt fuse at 24V. Until a green light appears on the buttons, it is better not to dig through the inverter.

There are 2 fuses on the transformer. Look for where 24V is lost. All red lights on the control panel should go out. This is an indication of activated protections. In your case there is a lack of 24V.

Check under the steps. There are also fuses.

Did you check this very well as i did indicated before?l:
    please make the following Steps:

    1) Reset the circuit breakers: Oe1 +Oe2 in the primary of the main transformer Om1.

    2) Test the fuses in the secondary of the main transforme Om1:Oe3+Oe4+Oe12+Oe13 .

    3) if everything is ok, take the module where some electronic tech for to see if possible to fix it. otherwise you must order the complete module to the factory

You both were right, the problem was in the fuse Oe1 that was badly screwed, all the fuses are funcionation well. I am really thankful. Can I ask something else? The motors of paper's feeder only works to go up but not down, the other parts of the machine are going well.

    Great sir , good job

Test the S20 solenoid for Table FEEDER, can be dirty, dusty, or loose connection, or course measure if the voltag 220Vca is there, and look for the limit switch for FEEDER, for to activate the solenoid. for the same loose wires, dirty, or bad contacts, or faulty switch.

Yes, the Problem was in one dirty contact. Now ir has present a new problem, the Button for full Speed doesn't Work. I have to Press permanently the Button so the machine can Run normally.

It only work in step for step Motion, but when i try to work in full Speed doesn't work.

    1) Test the button for dirty, or faulty.

    2) tight the wires, or corroded connection in button, repair or replace

    3) see for c.breaker +fuses: Trigger or Open. and tight very well the wires.

    4) see if the contactor for Full Speed ( look for schematic diagrams) is o.k, looke for work contacts, burn, or coil of contactor faulty, replace the contactor, You can push using a erase pencil, for to see if is working in full Speed.

5 I speak spanish, you can send me the email, if you want
