Does anyone run a Man Roland or Miehle press? Can we have a forum for us too?

I have a Miehle 25 and am learning lots about it, electrically & mechanically.

  • Anyone else?

We're getting new users every day on the forums here, so as soon as we get a few more running each we'll add the new forums.

    Thanks for the suggestion!

Does anyone know the overall gross weight and the individual unit gross weight on a 1984 Miehle Roland 6 color 600 series printing press?

hi there I used to work for man roland uk and i have alot of info so if you need i will gladly help you

Can you give me the weight of each unit on a 1984 Miehle Roland 6 color 600 series printing press?

Hi there sorry i have looked through my 600 mechanical note book and they dont say the weight of the units but the R700 is 9ton per unit so I would say if you look at 10 ton you should be ok as the R900 is 14 ton per unit hope this helps you

Thank you for the response. Man-Roland tells me that each unit on a 600 series weighs about 6 tons. Overall weight on the machine is 35 tons. Thanks for your help.

  • The shop I work at has two Man Roland 700 presses. I work on an 8 color as a feeder operator. We also have a 6 color and a Roland UVer. I started out on the 600's.

I believe the total weight per unit on an 84 Miehle Roland is 17,500 lbs,and we do have an 84 Favorite 4/28 and two 60" super sixty both 6 color plus AQ
