man roland 300 help

    Hello,
    We have man roland 300 4 color press
    its 1995 model
    we wanted to change one of its units roller bearings
    we take of one side but we cannot take off the other side..
    does anyone have an idea?

    what you have outlined is not a roller bearing but a cylinder bearing. Id feel safe in saying that unless your a fully experienced press mechanic or engineer, this job would not be one to just dive into. A guys gotta know his limitations!!!

    You need a press mechanic and you need to find the piece that broke off. Also you need to inspect all the teeth on the gears in that unit. Take a magnet through that unit to help pick up any debris.

    the repair for the plate cilinder must be done by a specialist, before dismantelling you must order broken spare parts and the first question is the broken part was broken while you try to pull out the bearing housing??? if your answer is yes then stop doing anything and leave specialist do the job...
