Main drive error

    On my Quickmaster DI-PRO is message "main drive error". This is now second time. First time we just restart the machine and message disappeared, now we restart and message is still there ?? Maybe some bad sensor?
    Please help :(

    Drive Error on RIP Computer or Press Computer

    Is the drive error showing up on your RIP computer or your press computer? If it is on the RIP computer, what type of RIP software are you using? What version is the RIP? Do you have the original CDs for reinstalling the software? Do you know if it is a DecAlpha or Intel processor?

    All of these questions are important and will let me know we can assist you with the installation.

    Don't really think it will be anything to do with RIP computer or any software issue......
    Can you inch the machine.

    We had the same problem it turned out to be a problem with the main drive circuit board (expensive) although you need to check that the brake cable is kept straight and does not have a kink in it.
