    Hi All,

I am running a QMDI Classic. When imaging of plates is completed and the press goes into the plate wash-up cycle, there is a loss of pressure and the cycle ends abruptly with the safety symbol appearing on screen.

What could be the possible cause of this problem? How do we remedy this problem.

    Many Thanks - Shawn

When the pressure drops below (I tought 6 bar) machine stops. You have a air leak somewhere (can be one off the blue pressure hoses). Maybe you can sort it out by using special SF functions to switch on individual parts.

    Hi Marc,

Thank yo for your response. Please explain what you mean by "use special functions" to switch on individual parts. Could you supply me with a list of the special functions to use as a diagnostics tool please?

Also, when you mention the blue pressure hoses, do you mean the very thin blue pneumatic pipes? Please advise.

Thanks again for your response. Regards Shawn

With "special functions" I mean press SF3+7 15 on the console now you can give in a 3 digit code for lets say activate pneumatics plate cleaning and switch them on/off with the plus and minus key. I'm sorry to say I can't find the list with this functions yet. With the blue hoses I indeed mean the thin pipes but also the big ones.

    PS

For the list with codes maybe someone else will share them.
