Were a small printshop currently using a Platewriter 2000 CtP system. It makes great plates but we have had so many costly problems with it that I think we would be better off going another route vs sinking any more money into it. The amount of money we have spent on replacement parts is almost a crazy as the cost to have someone come work on it.

The press the plates (metal) are used on is a Ryobi 3302. Pressman said 133lpi is about the max he can handle or it plugs up. Generally running 30-50m impressions per job. Does anyone have any suggestions? I cant seem to find any posts in regards to this that are remotely current. Sorry if ive missed them and posting an over asked question. They make all of us wear a lot of hats around here not leaving much time to dig deeper. Thanks in advance for your time.
