Greetings again,

my SM102-4, cpc2000 is lack of air.
-bow break
-Bogenauslage (outrigger?)

i bet somethging with the air star? it is counting.
air hose (Luftschläuche) were ok.

where to start checking?

LG Chris

It's not uncommon for a regenerative blower to fail. I'd suggest running airstar cabinet and checking the fan on each pump by sticking a plastic cable tie through vented end cover to see if one of them is not spinning.

  • thanks guys.
all breakers were visual ok. there is a little air flow, but its like a breath of nothing.

In that case I found, many times, holes in the hosing. Not only inside the cabinet, but in the runs routed across the floor (under the diamond plate step and going under the feeder).

    we checked that, no holes.
We have discovered that 2 of the 4 motors in the large air cabinet do not appear to be running or are running too slowly.
only one large hose from 3 provides adequate air.

    these

Seems likely, given your stated scenario, it’s a failure of one or more of your motor controller (BLM) boards.

we don´t find the boards in the instruction manual. where we find them? or is it the board on my picture

Been out of the business too long to recall appearance of power supplies/controllers, BLMs (pretty sure that’s the correct board designation) are in air cabinet, electrical enclosure, it does appear to be the one you have pictured.

okay we will check this one.
We found KLM´s. the upper two klms stay red too.should we let check them too? pictures:

Hope an electrical tech will jump in here to answer your question, I was primarily a mechanical tech, so shooting from the hip when I volunteer info regarding sensitive electronic components. Good luck with this, I know the BLMs are spendy to replace. An electrical engineer friend of mine, not employed by Heidelberg, often repaired these.

And last things are last, are not, Raf77? How many can you count to? Anyway this is your way out.

    Dear Chris,

According with unperformed tests and with provided information herein, I would think you are not a colorblind, and the air blower motor drives are indeed KLM, and not BLM (Black Live Matter).

In the case of two motors are defenitely dead, at least KLM output power bridges should be tested. These motors themselves also fly off often, and are rewound. We should start with them, checking them for shorted turns. A problem with command/feedback/sensors would be a better happiness for you.

We have encountered this problem only remotely, except for KLM's themselves. But this fault is typical for Heidelberg, and for Raf77. Come on.

    Regards,
    Oleg

Are you still here? Still have internet access? :D
Yes, first things first, and last thing last. That's the proper way to investigate the problem, but if you like to start from testing the boards, off you go then:D

Even if problem is common it doesn't mean it happens on every case

  • Good morning everyone, thank you for your help.
We're expecting our electronics technician today and hope he finds the problem.
Although the solder joints on the cards look really bad.

Are you two friends or foes? :D

We've now swapped the KLM circuit boards. It's definitely the motherboard. However, our electrician can't determine which part of the board is defective.

We have ordered a cheap one for 300 €, Heidelberg wants to exchange more euros :D
