Wondering if anyone knows the ration of toner usage on plain paper compared to the toner usage for Thickness 3. I am printing label stock and the toner does not fuse unless I use Thickness 3. But I am going through massive toner.
    Any help?

Unfortunately there is no Thickness 4 on the C284e:
    Plain, Single Side, Thin, Special Paper, Thick 1, 1+, 2, 3, Letterhead, Colored, Recycled, User Paper 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
    No Thickness 4

Okay, Thickness 4 is only on the bypass tray. You can't really put a ream of labels on the bypass tray.
