L426/ how to trick the console?

My third unit communication port on ink key control board is fried at the press. This board can run a six color press but I have a four unit console. How do I make the third unit console selection talk with the fith port on the board at the press?

I assume it is possible , but i would fix theboard , and not try to trail & error on this as you could burne the rest of the ports or get deeper in to problems that will cost you more.

this kind of board can in 80% of cases be fixed.
If you need directions i can help you with fixing it & getting a fixed board even before you send your out , but i woulkd not play arround with it - it can cost you more than doing it right
